Watercolor vs oil?

 

I now only paint in water-mixable oil, I find it easier to work with, color and details and depth can be defined better. And, as the name says, you can mix it with water, which allows the painter to use similar watercolor techniques one cannot use with regular oil paint.

These are just a few examples of animal portraits of some very beloved pets!
