I am not a portrait artist. I don't have that special talent, so I prefer to paint people as a whole. A small child stopped in his tracks staring at the sea, a "body portrait" in black and white of the human body in an aesthetic pose. A graceful ballerina, or just her feet. The powerful gymnast, the fashion queen... there are so many people waiting to be painted!
