Third Floor Art*

These examples are actual original wooden prints of my painting "Drifting on the South Sea", varying from approx 120 x 80 cm (47 x 32 in.) to a book-size 27 x 18 cm (10.6 x 7 in). The first print is on European spruce on slightly offset boards, with broken edges which relay the drifting feeling of this painting. The wood has been specially sanded and pre-treated white to achieve best results. Each board is hand-selected to match the picture. Weight = 10 kg (approx. 22 lbs)! Mounting brackets fixed on backside!

 

UV direct print is sprayed on, no cheap paper layer stuck on top. You can see and feel the wood (certified ecologically grown). Knots are a natural character of the wood and enhance its charm! Photos don't do justice to the real thing!

 

The second and third prints are on wild oak, which is rougher. Another option is one single flat board. I do have one on stock, picture coming soon. The small picture below of the "mini" is on one single piece. Minis only available on flat piece. Minis come equipped with a special dowel stand that can also be stored behind the wooden print.
